WE SINCERELY HOPE THAT YOU WILL HAVE LOTS OF FUN AND LAUGHTER AROUND IT!
DUE TO THE NATURE OF TIMBER AND THE OUTDOOR FACTOR, WE OFFER A
 3 MONTH WARRANTY BASED ONLY ON FACTORY MANUFACTURING DEFECTS NOT HAIR LINE CRACKS, SPLITS OR LITTLE BITS OF KNOT GUM.
THE MANUFACTURE WARRANTY ON ALL BENCHES AND TABLES IS 90 DAYS
THIS WARRANTY IS ONLY VALID WITH THE ORIGINAL INVOICE

CHAIRS AND BAR STOOLS HAVE A ONE MONTH WARRANTY BASED ON MANUFACTURING DEFECTS ONLY!

PLEASE NOTE: LAPA SETS
ALL EXTERIOR LOOSE STANDING TABLES WITH BENCHES WILL TWIST A LITTLE OVER TIME, WHICH IS NORMAL AND THEREFORE ADJUSTABLE CASTERS ARE FITTED FOR STABILITY.

MAINTENANCE
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL TYPERS OF TIMBER CONTAIN NATURAL MOISTURE, SOME MORE THAN OTHERS. THAT MOISTURE MUST DRY OUT FROM THE CORE OF THE WOOD, WHICH IS WHY WE USE A WATER BASED MARINE VARNISH - IT ALLOWS THAT MOISTURE TO ESCAPE. SO, FOR THE FIRST YEAR YOU MUST NOT RE-VARNISH YOUR FURNITURE AND ONLY USE WARM SOAPY WATER TO CLEAN. PLEASE NOTE IT MAY BECOME A LITTLE FLAKEY AND LITTLE CRACKS MAY APPEAR, NO FEAR THAT IS JUST THE MOISTURE ESCAPING.
I REPEAT!  DO NOT RE-VARNISH OR FILL LITTLE CRACKS IN YOUR FIRST YEAR!!!!

AFTER THAT 1ST YEAR:

  1. MAKE SURE THAT THE FURNITURE IS DRY ( FROM RAIN OR SPRINKLERS )
  2. SAND IT DOWN LIGHTLY WITH A MEDIUM COURSE SANDPAPER, DO NOT REMOVE ALL EXISTING VARNISH.  USE EXTERIOR WOOD FILLER WHERE NECESSARY IN CRACKS AND KNOTS.
  3. WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU PURCHASE DULUX EXTERIOR TIMBER VARNISH AT YOUR LOCAL HARDWARE OR AT SELECTED PICK ‘N PAY STORES.
  4. THE FIRST COAT MUST BE MIXED 50/50 WITH TURPS, APPLY IT ON THICKLY AND LEAVE UNTIL THE NEXT DAY OR WHEN TOTALLY DRY.
  5. DAY 2: LIGHTLY SAND THE FURNITURE AGAIN AND APPLY THE SECOND COAT, THIS TIME WITH ONLY 25% TURPS.
  6. DAY 3: LIGHTLY SAND UNTIL SMOOTH THEN APPLY THE FINAL COAT UNDILUTED.
  7. LET IT CURE FOR 24 HOURS.

    WARRANTY
     
  8. ANY BENCH UNDER WARRANTY WILL BE COLLECTED (WHEN WE ARE IN THAT PARTICULAR AREA) REPAIRED AND RE-VARNISHED FREE OF CHARGE.
  9. NO DELIVERY OR COLLECTION DATES OR TIMES CAN BE GUARANTEED.
  10. FURNITURE COLLECTED FROM US MUST BE RETURNED IF UNDER WARRANTY TO ASSESS, AS DAMAGE MAY OCCUR WHILST IN TRANSIT.
  11. FURNITURE SOLD UN-VARNISHED OR SELF ASSEMBLED HAS NO WARRANTY AT ALL.
  12. ALL FURNITURE COLLECTED OR RETURNED FOR REPAIR MUST BE QUOTED FOR FIRST.
  13. OUR TRANSPORT IS OUTSOURCED BY A PRIVATE COMPANY AND THEREFORE OUT OF OUR CONTROL, HOWEVER, THESE PRICES ARE WELL BELOW THE RECOMMENDED AA RATES.
  14. FURNITURE THAT HAS BEEN TAMPERED WITH OR RE-VARNISHED WITHIN THE WARRANTY PERIOD WILL LOSE ITS COVER.
  15. CUSTOMERS MAY HAVE NO CLAIM AGAINST OUR DRIVER OR STAFF AS A RESULT OF DAMAGE TO ANY PROPERTY INCLUDING THE GOODS DELIVERED. THE DELIVERY COMPANY, BY LAW MAY ONLY PLACE GOODS ON YOUR PROPERTY CLOSEST TO THE POINT OF ENTRY, AFTER THAT HE IS DOING YOU A FAVOUR.
  16. GOODS MAY NOT BE LEFT ON YOUR PREMISES WITHOUT PAYMENT - CASH, CHEQUE, CREDIT CARD OR EFT PROOF. WE ARE NOT A REGISTERED CREDIT PROVIDER AND THEREFORE ARE STRICTLY COD.
  17. CUSTOMERS NOT AT HOME AT THE TIME (WITHIN 3 HOURS) OF ARRANGED DELIVERY WILL HAVE TO COLLECT OR RE-PAY THE TRANSPORT COSTS.
  18. IF THE WARRANTY IS REQUIRED IN AFRIKAANS PLEASE REQUEST A TRANSLATED COPY BEFORE DELIVERY.
  19. UNSATISFACTORY GOODS CAN BE RETURNED OR CAN BE KEPT BUT MUST BE PAID FOR IN FULL. PLEASE NOTE ON INVOICE IF A PROBLEM IS FOUND AND PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO RECTIFY IT.
